PHOTO BOOTH EVENT SPECIALIST

We are South Carolina's premier luxury photo booth. We aim to find exactly what each client’s needs are and create a one of a kind photo booth experience while making our clients look amazing.

Our company is growing and we're looking to expand our team of responsible, creative, intelligent, and friendly individuals. You must enjoy being around people, have an approachable and engaging personality, appreciate a good party, and love selfies and dressing well! This job will entail picking up equipment from Downtown Charleston storage unit, delivery to venue, setup and operating photo booth equipment at various events including corporate functions, weddings and social parties and events.  We provide paid technical training to all of our attendants, preparing them for what it takes to operate successfully at each of our events. Minimal technical skills needed because we will train you on all aspects along with on-call support during events.

 

General responsibilities are listed below. As Lowcountry Photo Booth continues to grow and as needs change, the responsibilities of this position may evolve.

 

Hours

  • Flexible / Part-time with potential Full-time opportunities working with an amazing company, while you choose the events you want to work!  Majority of work will be performed on weekends (Friday through Sunday) but have occasional work on weekdays.

Responsibilities

  • Be courteous, friendly, and professional at all times

  • Attend trainings/meetings

  • Must be an extremely reliable and timely person. Because of the nature of our business, we will count on you to work the events you've committed to. We cannot tolerate tardiness or no shows. Remember, this could be someone's wedding, so it is extremely important that you're reliable and timely.

  • Pick up gear at storage facility in zip code 29403

  • Drive to the venue and return the equipment back

  • Set up, operate and break down photo booth

  • Create a fun atmosphere and encourage guests to have a great time in the photo booth

  • Maintain a pristine space at events for the photo booth before and during the event

  • Dress according to company's policy

 

Our Current Photo Booth Event Specialist:

  • Have friendly personalities, and are energetic and fun.

  • Have self-starting work ethics.

  • Have excellent time management skills.

  • Have basic computer knowledge; excellent customer service skills.

  • Have problem solving skills and can perform well under pressure. (Technical issues arise occasionally!)

  • Have experience in the events industry or photography

  • Are well organized.

  • Are be able to lift without assistance (50 lbs+/-). (Attendants will load photo booth in and out of the vehicle and event venue. Our cases have wheels but you will do some minor lifting.)

  • Must have a reliable vehicle, driver license and clean driving record, and full insurance on their vehicle.

  • Are at least 21 years or older.

Pay

  • Our event specialists are employees that will start off as an assistant for the first 3-6 events while training, after which they will work events solo as an event specialist. 

  • Pay starts at $20 per hour during training and up to $22 per hour when fully trained. Parking and mileage reimbursement (round trip from storage to venue).  Longevity raises. Occasional tips received. Payroll is filed monthly.
