We’re at it again…. last year we gave our top three trends that were on the rise for 2019, we’ll continue to see those trends into 2020 but here are a couple of up and coming for the new year….
Video and Boomerang Booths are In.
Like, really in. Both boomerang and video booths are the bee’s knees of letting your social circle know how much fun you are having at the party or event!
We’re always looking to create a unique experience at events and our video option (also known as party cam!) has endless possibilities! Turn our photo booth into an instant music video experience - our party cam feature can cut, zoom, flip, pan, slow mo, and rewind a recording while topping it off with your company or event branding! Or add our projection video to project an animated graphic and create a truly striking visual experience onsite during your event!
Prop It Like It’s Hot! 🔥
Let’s talk about props for a minute. With most photo booths you have a (more than enough) pick of mustaches on a stick, clown glasses, boas, hats and we could go on! They’re fun, definitely lighten up the mood but maybe it’s time to just leave them behind, grab a drink and a friend to be in front of the camera with you! As the glam booth continues to rise in popularity (thanks, Biebs! 😉), make sure when you look back at your photo, you are capturing who you spent your time with and the overall experience! Do you really want to cherish that photo of the fake lips and funny hat?
Not to say that props can’t be a great addition! If props were curated exclusively for your party, definitely use that prop - fo’ shizzle!
Set Designs: it’s All About the Experience!
With props being much more minimalist or non-existent, we are seeing the set designs becoming increasingly more unique!
I know, I know…. we technically suggested this trend last year with custom backdrops! BUT we’re not talking just fun custom backdrops (but that’s still totally a thing and we love it!). We’re talking full-on sets where the photo experience and the props are one. And when I state props - think swing, lounge, floral, etc! These experiences are perfect for really capturing the vibe of your event from a single photo to cherish forever or a GIF to instantly share with friends!
Last year, we worked with Samantha Anderson Events to capture a swing experience and with Fox Events for a lounge set design that was on fleek!
